Originally planning to search the home of their previous captors, they must first deal with this unexpected encounter. As the battle unfolds, the team faces several challenges, including a deadly Moonbeam, a series of dexterity tests, and some unexpected magical occurrences.

Amidst the chaos, the team uncovers new magical items and attempts to decipher their uses. They also face the grim reality of their surroundings as they find blood and arrows scattered throughout the thorny grove. With one of their allies missing and the grove under attack, the Critters must piece together who is responsible and what they were after.
